Ingredients
-
50 grams of caster sugar
-
250 ml of plant cream
-
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
-
1 tablespoon of OMG matcha
-
1 teaspoon of agar agar
-
Fresh strawberries (for the sauce)
Directions
Start by preparing your fresh strawberry sauce. Take a handful of fresh strawberries, wash them, and then whizz them in a blender until smooth. Set the sauce aside for later
In a saucepan, combine 250 ml of plant cream and 50 grams of caster sugar. Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar has completely dissolved.
Once the sugar has dissolved, add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of OMG matcha to the mixture. Stir well to ensure the matcha is fully incorporated. Now, add 1 teaspoon of agar agar to the saucepan. Continue to stir the mixture and bring it to a gentle boil. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes to activate the agar agar.
After simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat. Pour the mixture into two ramekins or serving glasses. Allow them to cool to room temperature, then transfer them to the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours.
Once the panna cotta has been set, it’s time to serve! Remove the ramekins from the refrigerator and pour the fresh strawberry sauce over the top of each panna cotta. Enjoy making and savouring this delightful treat!
