Makes 8 cookies

Ingredient's:
220g plain flour
200g caster sugar
100g dairy free butter (room temp)
125g plant milk
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp matcha powder
3 tbsp black sesame paste
Edible eyes

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line 2 oven trays with greaseproof paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla and milk and mix (it may curdle here, do not worry!).
  3. Fold in the flour and baking powder and split into 2 bowls. To one bowl add the sifted matcha powder and to the other add the black sesame paste.
  4. Mix until once batter is green and the other is grey/black.
  5. Get an ice cream scoop and scoop small amounts of the batters until the scoop is full.
  6. Decant 4 scoops onto the lined oven trays, refrigerate for 5 minutes and then place into the oven for 15-17 minutes.
  7. Remove the cookies and add the edible eyes before they cool. ENJOY!
